Each month is assumed to have the same length. In real scenarios, interest is often calculated daily, so actual payments may vary slightly depending on the number of days in each month.

Number of Weeks or Fortnights in a Year

For simplicity, one year is considered to have 52 weeks or 26 fortnights, equivalent to 364 days.

Rounding of Amount of Each Repayment

In real cases, repayments are rounded to the nearest rupee. Our calculator uses unrounded figures to ensure a smooth calculation of total interest and repayment amounts.
